PLIQUE DMA — legal information
Last updated: June 4, 2026
1. Who We Are
PLIQUE DMA ("we", "us", "our") operates https://plique.io. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it.
2. Data We Collect
Account data
- Email address (provided at registration)
- Hashed password (we never store your plaintext password)
- IP address at registration and on subsequent logins; all historical IPs are retained
Transactional data
- Subscription and billing records (plan, billing cycle, status, period dates)
- Invoice history including amounts and payment status
Hardware & machine data
When you authenticate through the PLIQUE DMA loader application, the client automatically transmits the following hardware identifiers to our servers for the purpose of licence enforcement and device registration:
- Hardware ID (HWID) — a SHA-256 hash derived from your hardware configuration, used as a unique device identifier
- Hostname — the name of your computer as configured in Windows
- Operating system version — e.g. "Windows 11 Pro 22H2"
- CPU model — processor name string
- Total RAM — system memory in gigabytes
- IP address — the IP address at time of authentication; all historical IPs seen from that device are retained
This data is stored against your account and is visible to PLIQUE DMA staff for fraud prevention and support purposes. You can view your registered devices on your dashboard.
Device limit
Each account is permitted a maximum of 2 registered devices. A new device is registered automatically the first time the loader authenticates from that machine. If you reach the 2-device limit you must contact support to remove an old device before a new one can be added. Device records remain associated with your account until removed by support or until account deletion.
Support data
- Emails and messages you send to our support team
Technical / analytics data
- Browser type, operating system, referring URL
- Pages visited and time spent (aggregate, not linked to your identity unless you are signed in)
- Session cookies (see our Cookie Policy)
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account
- To process payments and issue invoices
- To deliver software downloads and enforce software licences
- To verify device eligibility and enforce the 2-device limit per account
- To detect fraud, account sharing, and abuse
- To respond to support requests
- To send transactional emails (receipt, password reset, email verification)
- To investigate suspected Terms violations using hardware and IP data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Contract performance — processing your order, delivering the service, and enforcing device limits are necessary to fulfil our agreement with you
- Legitimate interests — collecting hardware identifiers and IP history to prevent fraud, account sharing, and licence abuse
- Consent — optional marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time)
- Legal obligation — retaining invoices and tax records
5. Data Retention
Account and hardware data is retained for as long as your account is active. Closed accounts are anonymised within 90 days, after which device records are deleted. Invoice records are kept for 7 years to satisfy tax obligations. Support tickets are retained for 2 years.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third parties who may process your data on our behalf:
- Payment processor — handles card data; we never store raw card numbers
- Transactional email provider — delivers system emails
- Hosting & CDN provider — server infrastructure; traffic may be proxied through Cloudflare, which may record IP addresses per their own privacy policy
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (including removal of device records), restrict or object to processing, and data portability. You can request a copy of your personal data directly from your account dashboard. To exercise any other right contact us at [email protected].
To request removal of a specific registered device from your account without closing the account, open a support ticket from your dashboard or email [email protected].
